We are looking for an enthusiast Software Engineer to design solutions aligned with client requirements which involves software configuration, hardware setup, and integration.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or any related fields;
- Have at least 4 years of working experience in SCADA and UNIX/ LINUX environment;
- Proficient in programming languages like C, C++, HTML, Java, XML, SQL;
- Should provide support, maintenance and enhancement in the existing product;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication ability;
- Willingness to travel overseas when required.
- Good to have knowledge in Databases (RDBMS, SQL, MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL);
- Willingness to travel overseas as per the project requirement.
- Manage project teams for Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA), Energy Monitoring Systems (EMS) or Distribution Management Systems (DMS);
- Set-up and install UNIX/LINUX/WINDOWS servers, workstations, hardware, and networks (routers, switches, IP addresses);
- In charge of software configuration using IBM Rational Clear Case and GIT version control;
- Prepare technical documents and set up of demonstration servers and laptops;
- Carry out functional and integration testing;
- Develop and enhance system according to business requirements.
