The team at Atlas previously built Grain, a venture-backed online restaurant that grew to millions in revenue. Atlas helps restaurants power online storefronts, POS systems, third-party logistics, sync with food platforms, connect with other tools, leverage AI, and much more
Existing customers include SaladStop, Killiney, and Haidilao, and we're adding brands like Casa Vostra, Artichoke, and Wewa -- with new restaurants joining every week

Role
You'll work across the stack, from backend APIs and databases to frontend interfaces and product flows. You'll collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and operations teams to bring ideas to life, and with the infrastructure team to make sure what we build scales reliably
What you'll do

• Build and maintain features that power hundreds of restaurants across the web and mobile
• Talk to users, understand their problems, and design solutions they'll love
• Work across backend (Ruby, Postgres) and frontend (React, React Native and JavaScript) systems
• Write clean, reliable, and maintainable code that's easy to build upon
• Collaborate with designers, operations, and fellow engineers to ship quickly and safely
• Continuously improve performance, reliability, and developer experience

Required skills and experience

• 6+ years of software engineering experience
• You write high-quality, well-tested code
• Strong coding skills in Ruby on Rails and JavaScript
• Experience working with PostgreSQL
• Experience in GraphQL or is willing to learn
• Focusing on delighting customers, having abnormally high standards and being extremely reliable
