The primary role of the Senior Platform Solution Designer is to provide platform solution design function to the Platform Solution and Delivery department in Singtel Group IT.

Make an Impact by:

• Overall platform design and delivery ownership and accountability of Core Systems Platform solution, delivery, commissions and platform life cycle management.
• End to end solution alignments, to ensure compliant to all internal architecture roadmap and info security policies.
• Responsibility and accountable on solution quality.
• Perform requirement gathering and impact assessment on business requests.
• Liaise and provide assistance to business to delivery business requirements.
• Manage the life cycle of the platforms, provide supports on all project phases, including day to day operations.
• Demonstrate the teamwork, ability to work with business, manager and peers, and proactively remove all blockers within or beyond the team.

Skills for Success:

• Bachelor\'s degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience in MVNE (Mobile Virtual Network Enabler)
• Minimal 10 years of experience in system development and solution design, or equivalent
• Proven track of records on solution design
• Excellent knowledge on BSS domain is a must
• Ability to lead a small project team
• Knowledge of MVNE is a plus
• Understand wholesale billing and operation
• Has hands-on Java development experience with Linux and cloud and container platform environments
• Possess Oracle SQL & MySQL & Postgres skills and able to construct structured SQL queries
• Knowledge on CI/CD flows, and scanning tools (SonarQube or similar)
• Sound understanding infrastructure design, internet protocols and IP networks
• Good knowledge of Info Security (on application, OS and network level)
• Sound knowledge/understanding on network trace (wire shark) trouble shooting skills.
• Sound knowledge of automated testing tools (Selenium or similar).
• Knowledge on scanning tools (SonarQube or similar)
• Telecom experience (Knowledge of Mobile & Broadband services, and Mobile Roaming).
• Excellent understanding of system integration and APIs (TMF standard APIs) is preferred
• Knowledge of realtime rating is preferred
• Knowledge on CSS, BSS & OSS standards, and operations is a plus
• Knowledge of Amdocs Ordering modules (OMS, CRM, MEC) is a plus
• Knowledge of Netcracker OSS modules is a plus
• Strong project delivery focus with attention to details
• Must be a great team player and take the ownership
• Sharp and tenacious troubleshooting skills, a great problem solver with the ability to take system problem and structure an action plan
• Structured and positive mindset
• Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision
• Ability to take the pressure
• Very good English proficiency
