Senior Sourcing Specialist (General Merchandise)

Adecco is partnering with a US MNC in the FMCG industry and we are seeking for a Senior Sourcing Specialist (General Merchandise) to join their expanding business! The incumbent full spectrum of sourcing activities for the hard goods category. Those with strong sourcing experience can be considered for an Assistant Manager position.

Job scope:

• Support the Manager to monitor the Key Financial indicators for the hard goods category
• Source and develop new suppliers and products in line with Company\'s policy
• Expand the sourcing footprint in various regions
• Assist in daily operatoinal activities including supplier management, product development, quote sheets, sample verification, order follow up
• Work closley with regional Sourcing team to ensure programs are delivered timely, while coordinating on buying trips
• Coordinate the sourcing activities with QA, Supply chain and packaging teams
• Evaluate the vendor performance and update vendor matrix

Requirements:

• Prior experience in sourcing for hard goods will be highly advantageous
• Strong leadership skills to lead the team effectively
• Ability to communicate in Chinese language to liaise with native Chinese speaking counterparts based in China
• Experience in large sourcing/buying office is a plus
• Familiar with international regulatory requirements
• Familiar with Microsoft Office with strong knowledge in Excel (Pivot Table and VLOOKUP) is a plus
