Our Communications team collaborate with media and external organizations at local and national levels. We address legislative and regulatory issues that promote and protect the discovery of innovative medicine, vaccines and animal health products while improving and protecting patient access to care. We take great care to monitor and manage the reputation of our company communicating the work we do to improve lives.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

In this high visibility contract role, you will work with the Singapore business (enterprise level) to develop and implement a range of communications activities to support our business priorities As the Manager, Enterprise Communications, you will report to the Director, External Affairs, Policy and Communications (EAPC). You will be responsible for building the company\xe2\x80\x99s employer brand, reputation & advocacy elevating the company in Singapore as \xe2\x80\x9cOne\xe2\x80\x9d Enterprise across all Divisions, both internally & externally. You will develop strategic communication roadmaps, implement integrated plans, and execute deliverables to achieve SCC objectives of the Organisation as a leading and preferred employer:

Work with SCC Leaders, Divisional communicators & employees, as well as external outreach such as relevant government stakeholders, media editors, writers etc. to maintain a high and positive brand profile

building confidence, trust, and respect for the company to be positioned as a top employer to attract & retain talents

You will also work closely with our DEI & EBRG network, sponsors & champions leading employee\xe2\x80\x99s programs, initiatives such as SG Well Being, for a holistic development, orchestration & mobilization of our branding strategy.

What will you do:

Build company\xe2\x80\x99s employer reputation through developing and implementing the company\xe2\x80\x99s communications strategy, activities and campaigns for SCC including:

Corporate communications on company-wide business developments and issues

Employee related communications particularly for new programs & initiatives

Building up our Enterprise social media presence

External recognition and awards to complement, enhance and elevate our reputation

Being the key point-of-contact for external media enquiries and interview requests relating to Employer Brand

Strengthen the relationships & capabilities needs to maintain a positive external profile, covering:

Regular, proactive outreach to top tier journalists in industry, medical & mainstream media

Preparing and supporting executives engaged at key events, stakeholder meetings and media

Managing multiple agencies, social media experts & content providers to complement internal capabilities

Building broad internal skills in good writing, verbal presentation, and social media

Ensuring that all media activities adhere to our internal standards & SAPI code

Develop and deliver internal communications program, covering:

Communications from the SCC on major announcements, and strategic updates

Employee stories & engagement on thought leadership, company culture, development, diversity, standards & well-being to imbue purpose & pride

Communications on our employee value proposition to engage current and potential future staff

Content development and programming of regular, company-wide town hall meetings

Lead Corporate Social Responsibility program for the company in Singapore

What should you have:

Undergraduate qualifications in communications with a minimum of 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience, with proven credentials in a similar capacity

Industry leading communications skills, evidenced by highly impactful written documents and strong verbal presentation (e.g., as a spokesperson to the media)

Strong strategic insight, particularly in understanding how corporate imperatives and narratives should be integrated into communications content

Solid crisis-management skills in developing content rapidly and aligning communication across the company and stakeholders

Well-developed networking skills and ability to build strong relationships with journalists and stakeholders

Interpersonal effectiveness, particularly in working productively under pressure with peers and leaders

Project management, attention to detail and time management
