We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Specialist, Investment Reporting.

Principal Responsibilities

• Ensure that investments are accounted for in accordance with IFRS for group reporting, SFRS for local reporting and MAS for regulatory reporting;
• Plan, organise and prioritise deliverables to ensure quality and timely delivery of investment and fund reporting internally and externally;
• Provide ad hoc support to the investment function in terms of accounting and reporting;
• Liaise with external vendor and internal investment operations team on investment accounting and reporting matters while ensuring flows from investment platforms to the accounting system are complete and accurate;
• Track external vendor payments against budget;
• Identify opportunities for process and internal control improvements, execute and implement them to raise operational efficiency and enhance quality of reported financials;
• Handle ad hoc and administrative tasks relating to investment accounting and reporting; and
• Lead or participate in investment reporting related projects such as IFRS 9, IFRS 17 implementations, system adoptions and enhancements, accounting for new investments, outsourcing, etc.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy / Finance or any relevant professional accounting qualifications (CA/CPA/ACCA)
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience
• Good team player
• Meticulous, and good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong sense of risk and control management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working with large data sets and proficient with Microsoft Office
• Able to work well in a fast paced and dynamic environment
