TPC seeks qualified procurement professionals that are comfortable working in a global setup in the fast-paced Telecom field.For more information, please visit our website :About the roleAs a Senior Specialist, Logistics and Facility Management, you will report directly to Head of Logistics and Facility Management and be part of Markets & indirect area team. Your daily interactions in addition to your own team will be different departments of Telenor procurement company (TPC), Telenor\xe2\x80\x99s corporate functions, TPC customer for Procurement as a Service (PaaS), Telenor business units as well as suppliers as needed. The Logistics and Facility Management domain includes sub-categories such as Transport & Freight, Warehousing, Postal Services, Office Property Rent, Security Equipment & Services, Renovation & Maintenance, Office Supplies, Device Insurance, Power Purchasing Agreement (PPA) etc.What you will do

  • Support and implement category strategies to optimize business efficiency for Logistics and Facility Management categories.
  • Identify and realize cost saving initiatives in the procurement of goods and services.
  • Identify, analyze, and develop vendor markets.
  • Manage and execute the Telenor Sourcing process for identified procurement initiatives.
  • Manage contracts and price book relevant to the respective category
  • Drive and manage procurement initiatives portfolio and procurement demand pipeline.
  • Ensure contract compliance with policies and achieve targets
  • Establish measures to assess progress, savings, and KPIs
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and prepare periodic reports on all procurement activities
  • Follow-up the PaaS customers and Telenor Business Units on contract management requirements
  • Maintain and aware of relevant and latest sourcing and procurement guidelines
ProfileTo succeed in this role, a deep understanding strategic procurement with sufficient understanding of the Logistics and Facility Management categories is required. A broader understanding of the telecom industry is beneficial. You need to have an academic understanding of strategic sourcing and category management. Candidate must be result oriented, demonstrating excellent collaboration abilities and be able to communicate both internally and externally and continually build new relationships.Other attributes will be:

Competence Requirements
  • A university degree, preferably within Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain or equivalent
  • Up to 3 - 5 years in strategic procurement / contract management / vendor management / negotiations / supply chain management role or as functional expert in the Logistics and Facility Management categories
  • Solid experience and working in high performing multi-cultural teams
  • Broad experience with Microsoft & other relevant tools, e.g. ThinkCell etc.
