Job Summary

Our client is a well establish financial institution looking for a Senior Specialist Officer. Reporting to Associate Chapter Lead, the Senior Information Specialist supports both the information technology infrastructure and the end-user computing environment in Asia operations. The incumbent acts as a liaison between corporate Information Services (IS) and the Operations and works to ensure stable on-going operations.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures that local office personnel effectively use technology tools to meet business requirements, identifies and bridges knowledge gaps through training.
• Solves or coordinates the solution to information technology problems.
• Adheres to information technology principles, standards and guidelines in order to ensure the delivery of high quality, cost effective, reliable, secure and well-documented products and services.
• Monitors local IT performance and takes corrective action and/or escalates problems to other IS support personnel to resolve performance-related problems.
• Supports FM Global\'s enterprise information backup and security strategy by performing prescribed tasks in the local office.
• Acquires and maintain current knowledge of relevant product offerings and support policies to provide technically accurate solutions to end-users.
• Proactively manages contact with local office personnel and other IS support staff and demonstrates adequate interpersonal skills to achieve a cooperative working relationship and manage conflict.
• May need to travel about 10-15% due to the geographical coverage.

• Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent in information Security / Assurance, Computer Science, Information Technology or other relevant field of study.
• At least 3 years of experience in information technology, especially supporting the information technology infrastructure and the end-user computing environment.
• Knowledge in supporting a Windows-based client computing environment.
• Broad range of telecommunications, network and desktop computing knowledge.
• Knowledge in Collaboration & Audio Video Technology, Smart Board / Microsoft Surface Hub / Cisco Video Conferencing / Crestron would be a plus.
