Initiate and terminate the dialysis treatment. 3. Monitor the patients' parameters and ensure the safety of care. 4. Assess the patients' need during the dialysis include medical, psychological, emotional and physical. 5. Assist with the procedures related to the dialysis and troubleshooting Peritoneal Dialysis 6. Prepare the equipments/requisites and the patients for dialysis (pre-dialysis patients and caregivers' assessment, Tenckhoff catheter insertion, post-operative care and peritoneal dialysis treatment). 7. Initiate and terminate peritoneal dialysis procedures. 8. Monitor patients' medical conditions, parameters, laboratory results, and others to ensure the patients are receiving optimal care and treatment. 9. Assess the patients' need include medical, psychological, emotional and physical. 10. Assist with the procedures related to peritoneal dialysis. 11. Provide peritoneal dialysis training and retraining to the patients and care givers. 12. Carry out peritoneal dialysis equilibrium tests, dialysis adequacy tests. 13. Track and compute data for monitoring and quality improvement. JOB REQUIREMENTS Possess a Diploma or Degree in Nursing, with relevant working experience in Renal preferred. Possess Advanced Diploma qualification would be an advantage. Hold a valid registration with Singapore Nursing Board. Willing to work 2 rotating shifts and weekends.
