Caterpillar Enterprise Strategy currently has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Strategy Consultant - Rental (Asia Pacific) to join the Caterpillar team.

The Senior Strategy Consultant role supports the development of dealer specific RGP (Rental Growth Plans) to support future services growth across multiple industries. The role involves working with and leading dealer and Caterpillar teams through deep data analysis, defining opportunity concentrations, identifying potential solutions, and ultimately building a granular execution plan which will lead to robust governance and growth over the next 1-3 years. This position will be focused primarily in the Asia Pac Regions and may be working across Rental, Construction, Resource, or Energy & Transportation Industries at any point in time. The role will be segmenting the business analysis to uncover unique customer attributes and business drivers which can be leveraged to create solutions for individual segments.

Job Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Support development of 3-5 year strategic and tactical execution plans with a focus on business growth.

Developing detailed action plans which can be built into a governable project.

Identifying potential roadblocks across the organization and working across teams to enable progress.

Support Strategy growth projects with internal partners and dealer network.

Main point of contact for POD data and analytics.

Responsible for alignment of project needs and data requirement.

Responsible for accuracy of projects analytics.

Responsible for update of presentation material.

Responsible to develop workshop material and report out.

Responsible for additional supporting analysis.

Responsible to develop project Milestones and Report Out materials.

Support virtual and face-to-face workshops / voice of customer (VOC) facilitation and note taking.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor\'s degree, preferably in business; economics, statistics, or a similar field with quantitative coursework.

Thorough knowledge of statistical approaches, data management techniques, and/or related digital technologies, and the ability to handle complex issues.

Must be comfortable working in MS Office and industry standard statistics. Very strong Excel & PowerPoint skills.

Proficiency in using Power BI, Snowflake, SQL or other equivalent data analytic software.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Effective and persuasive in both written and oral communication.

Negotiating: Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner.

Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization
