Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Familiar in reinforced concrete & steel structure design using BS codes and Eurocodes and providing supports in engineering and drafting procedure in meeting up with the tight deadline in preparation of shop drawings.
• Ensure proper execution of all works including discrepancies, prepare and submit the shop drawings for approval.
• Work closely as a team with various cross-functional teams e.g. Architectural/ MEP/ Quality and etc.
• Attend site / factory meeting and work closely with the clients or consultants to settle the discrepancies and technical issues.
• Assists in site planning, scheduling and technical support to Senior Project Manager / Project Manager / Design Manager.
• Regular monitoring of project progress and reporting to Senior Project Manager / Project Manager.
• Site coordination and execution of matters relating to the construction project.
• Well-versed in the coordination of structural and planning to ensure progress is in the schedule and in compliance.
• Resolve construction issues on drawings and liaise closely with Architectural & M&E teams as well as the authorities.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering / Building
• At least 8 year(s) of working experience in design and operation coordination in local construction.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Good knowledge in drawing/ design knowledge and familiar with local construction code and requirements.
• Good knowledge in Structural specifications & requirements.
• Good written and presentation skills.
