About the Role
We are seeking an individual with outstanding analytical and negotiation skills, and the ability to drive sophisticated insurance solutions over the finish line.
As part of CorSo's global Alternative Risk Transfer (ART) team, you will support the origination, structuring and execution of all types of non-standard insurance solutions for corporate entities, focusing on the Asian markets. Such non-standard product offerings include any type of structured re/insurance, captive solutions, parametric covers, and more.
The position is part of the ART Asia & ANZ team.
It will be based in Singapore and reports to the Head Alternative Risk Transfer Asia & ANZ.
Your responsibilities will include, however, are not limited to:

• Origination, structuring and execution of new and renewal transactions in the allocated market(s);
• Leading interdisciplinary deal teams for individual transactions from origination to execution;
• Marketing of ART solutions in cooperation with CorSo's local Customer and Distribution colleagues and generating a strong deal pipeline;
• Enabling profitable growth of the ART portfolio by structuring tailored insurance solutions in cooperation with the local Underwriting teams;
• Continuing to grow the ART team's market visibility as a reliable partner for all kinds of alternative risk and capital management solutions;
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory, accounting, tax and legal requirements, as well as adherence to Group Guidelines and best practices; and
• Building and maintaining professional relationships with key internal stakeholders as well as external clients, brokers, risk and captive managers.

About the Team
Swiss Re Corporate Solution's Alternative Risk Transfer team is responsible for driving innovation in insurance solutions across all product lines. Renowned as a market leader in the ART space, the team excels in structuring customized insurance solutions for corporate clients, leveraging its extensive expertise and advanced analytical capabilities. Our team takes pride in an exceptional track record over the years, consistently providing efficient solutions to assist with our client's risk management challenges.
About You
Educational Experience:

• Master's degree in economics, corporate finance, engineering, or equivalent education.

Professional Experience

• Minimum of 7 years' professional experience in the Asian insurance markets, preferably in Underwriting or Broking; and
• Experience working in a multi-cultural and cross-functional team environment.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with traditional and alternative re/insurance products and markets; and
• Strong financial acumen and analytical capabilities.

Leadership Skills

• Strong entrepreneurial attitude and focus on execution, bias towards closing deals;
• Self-starter being able to work independently;
• Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills;
• Strong networking skills; and
• Great teammate with the ability to work well in a virtual team environment.

Occasional travel may be required in the Asian region.
