Responsibilities:

  • Act as deputy to the Supply Chain Manager
  • As and when required to be the internal and external interface
  • Perform duties and tasks on an as directed / as needed basis
  • Ensure that the materials needed are made available as per Installation / T&C / Customer needs.
  • Monitor Supplier acknowledgement of the PO by the supplier to the Tactical Buyer.
  • If needed expedite through Tactical Buyer / Category Buyer depending the level of escalation needed. Inform the Work Package Managers on the potential impact and plan mitigation as needed to avoid / minimize site disruptions.
  • Coordinate / organise deliveries to Warehouse, schedule for quality checks, and arrange for collection materials as needed by project teams
  • Managing suppliers to meet their performance obligation via bi-weekly meetings with stakeholders (Quality, HSE, WPM, and PM).
  • Managing non-commercial topics with suppliers.
  • Escalating commercial topics to Category Buyer.


The coordination activities includes:
  • Bill of Materials from Design team
  • Scope of Work from Work Package Managers
  • Plan / Schedule from Work Package Managers / Planners
  • Procurement Budget from Project Procurement Managers
  • Quotes from Buyers for Commercial-Of-The-Shelf / Built to Print / Known or repeat purchases
  • Quote/offer from Buyer for Installation / Key Acquisition.
  • Purchase Order issuance to the supplier


Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Supply Chain / Material Planning & Purchasing related experience
  • Degree / Diploma holder in relevant discipline of Supply Chain Management studies
  • Skilled at working in a fast-paced environment open to constant change in demands
  • Able to solve and handle problems effectively, and make decisions with minimal supervision
  • A good team player who is keen to learn and able to work well with various levels of seniority
