The Supplier Quality and Environmental, Health & Safety Engineer is responsible for all aspects of Supplier Quality in the different production phases of Silicon Labs products at our suppliers and manufacturing partners as well as manage the environmental, health and safety program locally.

You will work with suppliers and manufacturing partners and internal cross functional teams on quality, environmental, corporate social responsibility requirements or requests, and address issues relating to supplier quality, environmental, health and safety and drive corrective actions and improvement plans.

Responsibilities

Drive and collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to achieve high product and process quality in compliance to Silicon Labs requirements and industry standards and requests, embracing the continuous improvement mindset

Lead cross functional teams to address supplier quality and reliability issues, including containing the issue, determining root cause, implementing corrective and preventive actions, and fan-out, ensuring proper execution and resolution of issues, including risk assessment and timely disposition of any affected materials

Facilitate comprehensive supplier gap analysis and lessons learned sharing and benchmarking across suppliers and partners in tandem with performing periodic on-site or virtual supplier audits to verify suppliers\xe2\x80\x99 quality system, process control and effectiveness

Drive the environmental, health and safety program in Silicon Labs, to meet key goals and targets as well as maintain our environmental management system certification and corporate social responsibility and governance initiatives

Partner with our safety consultant to ensure facility compliance to legal regulations and requirements, and lead actions and programs that foster a safe and healthy workplace

Engage in continuous improvement and process simplification activities across quality and environmental systems, working closely with suppliers and internal departments to coordinate change management, product qualifications, ongoing reliability, quality and environmental monitors

Skills You Will Need
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in an Engineering discipline or related degree with 5+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry

Strong understanding of quality management system, tools & methods, statistical data analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies

Strong understanding of environmental management system, aspect and impact and operational controls

Good understanding of Semiconductor Technology and the manufacturing processes

Experience with problem solving tools and root cause analysis techniques (Fault tree analysis, 3x5 Why, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis)

Familiarity with Integrated Circuit, including System-in-a-Package (SiP) and module, qualification standards such as JEDEC and AEC-Q100

Good communication skills
