Position Overview
The Transition Manager leads and directs the execution of very large, national, or cross-functional projects from budgeting, work planning, procurement, execution, to completion. This role partners with key stakeholders to determine project goals that align with business objectives and strategies. The manager leads and supports the conceptualization and evaluation of end-to-end solution designs and manages the product and technology roadmap for the projects. They oversee large teams or multiple teams of professionals and third-party vendors or service providers to achieve business goals related to the projects. Responsibilities include managing work plans, manpower resources, budgets, quality, compliance, risks, and issues to minimize impact on delivery and corporate outcomes.
The Transition Manager possesses excellent leadership skills with experience managing very large and complex projects across multiple cross-functional teams. They develop and maintain trusted, strong relationships with key stakeholders and collaborate effectively with all parties. With excellent communication skills, an innovative mindset, critical thinking, agility, and resilience, the manager excels in people management by mentoring, coaching, guiding, and developing teams to meet program and corporate objectives while ensuring compliance with established processes and procedures such as the Quality Management System and HealthTech Instruction Manual.
