About the Role
We are seeking a
Senior Systems Engineer
to join our Defence team in delivering mission-critical, wide-area network systems.You will play a pivotal role in the
design, integration, and deployment
of server and network-based solutions to support national defence and security.This is a hands-on role involving
system analysis
,testing
,vendor management
, andcustomer-facing validation
.#
Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, and deploy systems comprising servers and network elements over
wide area networks (WAN)
Analyze system requirements and propose technical solutions to meet project and contractual specifications Collaborate with project/system managers to define and document system specifications Set up test environments fordevelopment, integration, and validation
Source and evaluate hardware; liaise with vendors and suppliers Develop test cases and executeacceptance test procedures
for system validation Support and participate in customer acceptance tests; compile and submit test reports#
Key Qualifications & Skills
Hands-on experience in
system integration
,site
testing
, ornetwork/server setup
Cisco
and/orRed Hat
certifications are highly preferred Interest inhardware integration
andon-site system testing
* Ability and willingness totravel for overseas assignments
