Job Description

:

Working Location : Tuas (2 way transport provided to many mrt stations)

Working Hours : 8 am to 4.45 pm (Monday to Friday) - 2 days wfh, 3 days at Tuas.

Period : Able to commit to work from 5 Dec 2023 to May 2023

As a Senior Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for all tax matters in REC Solar Singapore, prepare tax filings and reports, and resolve issues and inquiries on tax matters.

Ensure corporate tax reporting, GST and WHT reporting requirements are met, filed timely and accurately for REC Solar Singapore.

Timely posting of tax journals for month-end and year end closing for REC Solar Singapore.

Ensure year-end provisions for current and deferred taxes are made timely and accurately for REC Solar Singapore.

Monitor local tax regulations including any upcoming changes to ensure accurate tax filling.

Coordinate tax audits, address tax queries, and resolve all tax issues.

Address Singapore property tax queries.

Advising tax impact - Corporate, GST, Withholding Taxes on ad hoc projects.

Other ad-hoc assignments such as support TP documentation.

Qualifications:

Degree in accountancy or taxation

Accredited Tax Professionals, Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals is preferred

Minimum 5 years of tax experiences (Big four preferred)

Good working knowledge of Singapore taxation

Strong technical knowledge of direct / indirect taxes

Outstanding conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a high energy level

Ability to be proactive and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills

Well-organized and detail-oriented

Hands on, and able to work both independently and as a team player

Hands-on Knowledge of computerized accounting systems (SAP)

Strong and solid knowledge of Tax in the manufacturing industry an advantage.
