About the job The main mission of Advanced Health & Science department is to develop science based nutritional concepts for the benefit of main Danone brands and product categories (dairy, plant based, waters, infant nutrition and medical nutrition). As the Senior Team Leader Gut Microbiology you will leading the GBM science team in Singapore and be in charge of the global data expertise in microbiome science, and the execution and scale-up of the Danone Microbiota and Nutrition science platform (OneBiome). Scientific insights are to be leveraged for future innovation opportunities in health nutrition and leading to commercialization opportunities. You will have significant business impact through translating and implementation life science into future innovations and value creation. You will report to the Senior Director Gut Biology and Microbiology based in the Netherlands. People management is part of the role via local line management, and you will be part of an international team (Paris, Shanghai, Utrecht) and maintaining and building connections with several teams, functions and levels in Danone. Importantly you will be engaging with different stakeholders both internally (science, innovation, communication, marketing), and externally (Academia, Start-ups, Authorities, Universities and KOLs) on topics around gut microbiome science.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will need\xe2\x80\xa6

• A strong background in Microbiology and Nutrition
• Minimum a PhD in microbiology, bioinformatics, or related life science domain
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in a related field
