Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Technical Buyer (APAC) for our client in the design & engineering space expanding into Singapore. This on-site, full-time role is central to both procurement and quotation activities, offering the chance to refine processes and contribute to customer expansion in a fast-moving, startup-style setting.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers and vendors
Prepare cost estimates and technical proposals for components such as gaskets, seals, bearings, and related products
Streamline purchasing activities and ensure stock levels are well-managed
Work closely with the sales team to shape pricing approaches and coordinate with clients
Play a key role in enhancing operational effectiveness across the Singapore & Regional office
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Procurement/Contract Management or related field
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in procurement, quotations, or technical sales
A proactive mindset suited to dynamic, fast-moving work environments
Strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively
Comfortable reading engineering drawings and technical specifications
