The

Senior

Technical Support & Connectivity Specialist

is responsible for providing technical support for internal and direct customers using leading-edge digital pathology, POC & diagnostics products. This exciting and dynamic position will involve providing technical expertise to all areas of the business, including Service and Sales across 3 Op-Cos (Leica Biosystems, Cepheid, Radiometer).


The ideal candidate must have experience working with external customers remotely and onsite to resolve technical issues. Healthcare IT and support of high-tech diagnostic/medical equipment background is essential. The applicant must be able to work well independently, be customer-centric and have excellent communication skills. This position will be remote.


This position reports to the Regional Service Manager and is part of the service team located in Cepheid Singapore and will be fully remote.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Act as the first point of contact for all Imaging and connectivity technical support across the diagnostics Platform (Leica Biosystems, Cepheid, Radiometer) within the assigned region either remotely or onsite. Provide technical assistance to customers, application specialists and field engineers by telephone, remote access, e-mail and onsite visits. Provide technical support 24/7 when issues arise.

The essential requirements of the job include:

5+ years' experience providing technical support for systems with software and hardware components. BS in information technology, engineering or equivalent education and experience Experience with installation and technical support of Windows and Linux based software products.
