Title: Senior Technical Consultant (Process)

KBR Consulting is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant (Process) to provide consulting services and contributing to business development activities across the full range of the chemical and petrochemical industry clients. As an experienced individual in the team, this Senior Technical Consultant (Process) performs his/her own work in terms of collecting information, developing deliverables, analyzing for trends and key findings, and preparing Word or PowerPoint Reports.

Additionally, the candidate shall support the group\xe2\x80\x99s overall sales effort through proposal/tender preparation, contract negotiation, and other client interfacing activities.

The successful candidate will be a key member of the KBR Consulting International team and reporting to Regional Director.

Job Responsibilities:

• Undertake feasibility studies and early stage design on a variety of sustainable and decarbonization projects both for onshore and offshore.
• Undertake energy strategy consulting work on energy transition and low carbon solutions, including modelling, business cases assessment and market analysis.
• Undertake Technical Due Diligence on a variety of sustainable and decarbonization Mergers and Acquisition projects including conventional low carbon projects, ammonia, hydrogen, renewables, energy storage, interconnectors, geothermal, hydro and biomass for financial investors and/banks, providing clients with details of how technical risks can impact their projects.
• Execute consulting engagements, which include coordinating with cross-discipline teams to develop bespoke solutions for clients.
• Take responsibility for effective project management and participate in knowledge sharing to support the development of other team members.
• Prepare and deliver conference papers at international events; and
• Support the growth of the business.
• Act as and be recognized as a \xe2\x80\x98Subject Matter Expert\xe2\x80\x99 in specific expertise in one of the following value chains / applications, such as:
• \xe2\x80\x8bRefining Processes;
• Commodity Chemicals Production Processes;
• Syngas Processes;
• Carbon capture, utilization and storage;
• Conventional low carbon projects;
• Green and Blue Ammonia / Hydrogen;
• Renewables, energy storage, interconnectors, geothermal, hydro and biomass; and
• Energy Efficiency and Optimization.

• Relevant engineering/technical degree or equivalent and will preferably be developing a Professional qualification in a recognized institution in the field of engineering
• 15+ years of energy/related industry experience, with 10 years+ specific to several energy transition topics listed above
• Proven capability in delivering high-end consulting projects and managing key stakeholders well-regarded.
• Familiarity with broad ESG ecosystem, including local and international carbon markets, rules and regulations.
• Demonstrate business acumen (ability to grasp commercial feasibility of proposals) and financial literacy (ability to understand basic financial concepts and evaluation methods)
• Good analytical and problem solving skills;
• Excellent verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, good cultural awareness
• Flexible and willing to work extra hours as necessary to accommodate occasional work load peaks
• Work experience with an industry company, licensor or technical consultancy is a major plus
• Must be able to travel within APAC region
