Role Summary



The Senior Technical Manager - Temenos T24 is responsible for leading the end-to-end functional and technical delivery of complex banking solutions on the Temenos T24 platform. The role acts as a key interface between business, architecture, and engineering teams, ensuring solution designs are scalable, resilient, secure, and aligned with organizational standards. This position oversees technical governance, squad delivery, production stability, and continuous improvement across Temenos-based applications in a regulated banking environment.



Responsibilities


To be able to understand Technical solution for the application (Temenos / TAP / Infinity) so that he/she can also contribute and lead functional discussions.

To handle end to end of functional implementation of complex and custom-built solution.

Ensure Organization's Development standards and best practices are followed in conjunction with Temenos Applications.

Impact assessment of all Temenos application changes and identify downstream impact.

Ensure design uses the correct integration patterns and formats.

Ensure Design is fully scalable, reliable and resilient and Design is not creating any platform debt (or) using any obsolete technology.

Documentation updates and sign off like JIRA, Confluence, unit test documents, source code review reports, sonar scans, vulnerability scans, operational handover documents, etc.

Inform Application platform Lead of any item to report to security, IT risk, architecture to register.

Close collaboration with Business Engineers, System Architects, PMs, Test management teams.

Continuous sharing of organization's latest functional concepts with team.

Investigate and resolve production issues (RTB) to help maintain a stable production environment; remain cool and effective in crisis.

Participate in reviews meetings and provide updates on project progress.

Effectively manage the development resources and deliveries from the squad.

Drive and review technical and architectural design, enforce architectural guidelines and challenge status quo.


Requirements


Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Information Technology/ Computer Science or Related Field.

9-12 years of Functional and Technical experience in Temenos application platforms.

Development and functional experience with T24 and TAFJ R23 or higher in a multi-company multi-application server set-up.

Deep understanding of the Private banking modules and Temenos Application Services framework to build robust solutions.

Implementation experience of the SWIFT messaging, interfacing patterns, STP processes.

Able to translate functional requirements to efficient and fit-for-purpose technical solutions.

Hands on experience with Temenos Integration & Interaction frameworks and Streaming solutions.

Fair understanding of the Application deployment architecture and Infrastructure.


Education


Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Information Technology/ Computer Science or Related Field.


TECHNICAL / PROFESSIONAL SKILLS


Temenos R23 and higher, TAFJ R23 and higher and TAP.

Multi-Company set-up and multi-app server set-up.

Experience with T24 development on Cloud environments.

Experience in Temenos Unit Test framework.

* Integration framework, Outbox Event Streaming and Interaction framework (IRIS), MQ, JBOSS.
