Job Description

• Perform assembly work in platform integration and systems installation according to process instruction
• Ensure station assembly work adheres to production schedule
• Comply and support WSH&E safety requirements at assigned station
• Oversee 5S at assigned station to ensure proper upkeep of working area
• Conduct quality checks on assigned station assembly work to ensure zero defects
• Assist engineers and supervisors to troubleshoot and resolve any production issues
• Lead and manage technicians to complete assembly work at station according to production schedule
• Lead and implement new initiatives to improve quality and safety at workshop
• Train and qualify junior technicians to perform production work according to process instruction

• Higher Nitec or Diploma in Automotive Technology, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Able to read and explain safety & assembly documents eg. HIRADC, Process instruction, Lifting Plan, etc (English) to others
• Able to use basic hand tools, power tools and other production equipment related to assembly trade such as Torque wrenches and lifting equipment
• Able to use lifting equipment safely, such as lifting belts and slings in accordance with lifting plan
• Possess good leadership skills
• Able to work well in a team with good interpersonal skills
• Able to work under pressure and self-motivated
• Prefer to have min. 4 years of working and leadership experience in related industry (e.g. automotive industry, manufacturing industry, etc)
