MTU Asia is now looking for en experienced Senior Technician / Assistant Engineer with engine background to join our workshop in Jurong. As a Senior Technician / Assistant Engineer, you will have overall responsibility for the MTU business in Singapore. You will play an integral role in the business by ensuring that all our engines and equipment meet the high standards that MTU requires. This is a chance for you to contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance ensuring optimum performance within our business.

Key Accountabilities:

• 
  Perform engine repair and overhaul, including engine disassembly and assembly.
• 
  Ensure engine repair and overhaul quality and turn-around time targets are met.
• 
  Support engine troubleshooting during bench-test when required.
• 
  Conduct improvement projects to increase productivity, efficiency and/or safety at the workplace.
• 
  Observe all the safety regulations of WSHA and guidelines/risk assessment from the company's WHS Committee when performing work at-site or at customer's premises.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 
  Diploma /NITEC/ITE in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 
  Preferably with 2-3 years working experience on automation especially if working on automation related to diesel engine.
• 
  Good communication and interpersonal skill, resourceful, team player
• 
  Able to work in Tukang office (Jurong)
