This Senior Telecommunications Engineer acts as a service provider to Company and provides verification and assurance of telecommunications related activities throughout construction. The role will involve the following , with the exact Scope of Work to be performed as directed by the Company Representative:

a. Support and influence MODEC to deliver the project commissioning scope safely, on time and to the required quality;

b. Comply with all Company work instructions, procedures and checklists devised by Company, and review these documents as and when requested by the Company Representative;

c. Undertake assurance and verification of engineering drawings , mechanical completion, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities (including witnessing of commissioning and testing activities) in accordance with Company requirements (including all relevant work instructions, procedures and checklists);

d. Interpret engineering drawings produced by MODEC and inspect the corresponding physical infrastructure on the FPSO, making assessments of the functionality of the physical systems as required by the Company Representative;

e. Produce assurance and verification reports detailing as and when required by the Company Representative;

f. Interpret engineering drawings produced by MODEC and inspect the corresponding physical infrastructure on the FPSO, making assessments of the functionality of the physical systems as required by the Company Representative ;

g. Identify and inform the Company Representative of punch-list items;

h. Report to Company personnel on progress, quality and safety when requested by the Company Representative; and

i. Perform other tasks as requested by the Company Representative.

The Senior Telecommunications Engineer shall possess the following qualifications:

a. Possess a degree in engineering with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience, either in telecommunications (preferred), instrumentation and controls or electrical engineering, OR;

Be a qualified telecommunications technician with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience.
