\xe2\x98\x91 SINGAPOREANS ONLY\xe2\x98\x91 Strong individual trading abilities\xe2\x98\x91 Thermal coal, carbon etc expPurpose of jobAn experienced trader with good knowledge of the Thermal Coal industry in Asia required to join the Carbons team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be a part of the team responsible for Sales in non-China and Non-India market. Product knowledge and commercial knowledge are prerequisites.Main duties and responsibilities

• Develop and implement key trading strategies that are aligned with organisational objectives.

• Develop the trading plan for Non-China and Non-India business.

• Develop and manage relationships with key contacts in the industry specifically in South East Asia and South Korea market.

• Generate new business by developing new client relationships

• Manage the trading program factoring in strengths and weaknesses of the team. Build, manage and support the team as necessary.

• Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our relationships with them

• Liaise between traffic teams and clients as necessary to ensure smooth transactions

Education / experience / technical skills required

• Comprehensive understanding of product, INCO terms, contract terms, transaction flow, and bulk freight to be able to facilitate a smooth transaction

• Approximately 5 - 7 years\' experience in Thermal coal industry at least 2 of which should have been in a trading role.

• Passion for sales and marketing with a proven track record of success.

• Good technical understanding of the Thermal Coal and related products and markets
