This position reports to Vice President of Group Treasury and support treasury activities such as treasury operations, cashflow management / forecasting, reporting, bank account management, system maintenance and ad hoc projects.


Description:
Month end and reporting:

• Month end closing: running valuations for IRS & FX on TMS
• Monitoring rate fixings on SAP of loans and derivatives with float component
• Support the accounting for treasury instruments and reporting/valuation of derivatives (FX and interest rates)
• Perform hedge effectiveness testing and derivative Mark-to-Market valuation at month end
• Prepare and provide analysis for liquidity, currency and interest rate risk for financial reporting (once a year)
• Prepare foreign exchange and interest rate forecast for Group budgeting purpose
• Provide support for system data migration (static and trade data)
• Perform user acceptance testing for new treasury management system implementation (ad hoc)
• Recommend and implement improvements to current treasury processes
• Maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities

Bank account management:

• Opening and closure of offshore and onshore accounts
• Change of signatories
• Consolidating documentation requested by Internal and External Audit
• Manage Client onboarding and know your customer checks (e.g. FATCA, CRS, etc.)
• System administrator for online banking platform

Treasury Contracts and processes:

• FX forward / spot
• FD placement, ST & LT loans
• Bond / Perp coupon settlements
• Fund transfers and Treasury payments
• Entering all trades and back to back on SAP
• Back office processing of trades on SAP (posting tbb1 entries)
• CCS / IRS back office settlements on SAP and standard settlement instructions
• Derivatives / Bond / Perps / Business partner and other treasury instruments maintenance on SAP
• Cash forecasting and monitoring of balances
• Preparation of Loan UR / Selection / Repayment Notices
• Preparation of Compliance certs
• Preparation of Loan compliance monitoring sheet (semi-annual)

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting / Business / Finance / Commerce or CPA/CA
• ACT/CFA Charter holders/candidates would be welcome
• 2-3 years working experience in bank, corporate treasury or audit
