Job Description

Responsibilities:

1) Prepare method statements, safe work procedures, risk register, daily/weekly reports, tunnel progress reports and other tunnel related documentation

2) Provide engineering supervision to bored tunnelling operation, including final ring selection and selection of key.

3) Prepare and carry out presentation of tunnelling works prior to commencement of works

4) Conduct daily site inspection and supervision of bored tunnelling works

5) Supervision work on a TBM machine controlling the tunnel labour in excavation and ring build

6) Make preparations for cutter-head intervention including documents for submission and site preparations

7) Provide technical guidance for cross passage and pump sump construction

8) Maintain site records of excavated volumes, grouting records and other construction work

9) Maintain and monitor quality control and records

10) Plan and monitor and track site progress, manpower mobilization and equipment deployment

11) Ensure job safety analysis and site safety compliance

12) Coordinate various subcontractors to ensure work runs smoothly

13) Ensure safe work procedures and environmental control measures are implemented at the work site

14) Liaise with authorities, consultants and subcontractors

15) Any other adhoc task assigned by direct superior or Project Manager

Requirements:

1) Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

2) Tunnel Engineer must have at least 8 years of tunnelling experience.

3) Good computer skill to fulfil the job functions (Office365 and Auto-Cad, etc.).

4) Good knowledge of local authority requirements and engineering standards

5) Able to do 12 hour shift work

6) Good team player with the ability to lead & multi-tasking

7) Able to start work within a short notice period will have an added advantage

Salary will commensurate with work experience and qualifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $6,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month
