Senior TypeScript Software Engineer (Backend-Focused | React + AWS)

About the Role:

We are hiring a

Senior Software Engineer

with deep expertise in

backend development

, strong command of

TypeScript

, and hands-on experience with

AWS cloud services

. This role is ideal for engineers who have built and scaled

large-scale applications

and can own backend architecture end-to-end, while also contributing to a modern

React-based frontend

.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect and build scalable backend systems

using TypeScript and AWS serverless services (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway) Develop and maintain high-performance APIs and services used by large user bases Optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, cost-efficiency, and reliability Contribute to front-end components in React where needed for full-stack features Collaborate with product, design, and DevOps teams to ship robust features at scale Implement best practices for testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and observability Drive architectural decisions and mentor junior engineers in backend and cloud practices

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of software engineering experience, with a

strong backend focus

Proven track record of building and scaling

large-scale, high-traffic applications

Advanced proficiency in

TypeScript

(backend and frontend) Expert-level experience with

AWS services

, especially

DynamoDB

,

Lambda

,

API Gateway

, and

S3

Hands-on experience with

serverless

and

event-driven architectures

Solid understanding of database design, data modeling, and API security Proficiency in React and modern front-end development tools (Vite/Webpack, Babel, etc.) Experience with automated testing, monitoring, and deployment pipelines

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform) Familiarity with Node.js, Express, or similar backend frameworks Exposure to containerized environments (Docker, ECS, or EKS) * Experience in agile environments, ideally in high-growth or startup contexts
