We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Vice President, Branch Director.

Principal Responsibilities

  • The primary role purpose of the Branch Director is to lead, develop and manage the sales force, which includes driving sales, monitoring performance and identifying development needs in the sales team
  • Works closely with the Head of Branch Ops and Service to support the delivery of service strategy. The role will need to be accountable for the implementation of face to face delivery of the Wealth and Personal Banking plan including overall structure, sales performance expectation, Profit & Loss performance and leads management
  • Perform continuous team\xe2\x80\x99s portfolio analysis to identify potential client leads and opportunities
  • Detailed, meticulous and precise in identifying opportunities and gaps and ability to craft out quick business strategies to achieve business goals
  • Ability to constantly inspect what we expect on team\xe2\x80\x99s deliverables on regular basis
  • Demonstrate strong ability to lead the team to self-source, develop new business by actively prospecting for new clients and referrals, and leveraging your existing network to generate New to Bank leads
  • Fulfilling clients necessitates while providing an exceptional client experience is the expected behavior from all our employees and it will be measured by specific metrics
  • Lead the team to drive referrals across various business lines within WPB, particularly to GPB
  • Drive strong team performance while embedding a values-led inclusive culture with the immediate team
  • Passion to lead, provide quality coaching and strong discipline to create a strong and cohesive sales team
  • The jobholder has a central role to play in effectively leading and implementing change as an integral part of delivering the business strategy
  • The role will ensure the business is effectively run in accordance with the WPB Operating Model. In delivering the business objectives, role holders must also maintain the highest standards of risk management, control and compliance required by the Group, closely managing and driving the individual and collective performance of the team
  • Continually reassess the operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technology
  • Ensure the team adhere to all KYC/AML and other compliance norms are strictly adhere to
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm\xe2\x80\x99s reputation and safeguarding the bank, its clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules & regulations adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Requirements
  • The successful candidate has strong academic qualifications and over 8 years of work experience in Wealth Management with a proven track record of leading a team
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills to be able to work individually as well as to collaborate with stakeholders to meet overall branch\xe2\x80\x99s objectives
  • Highly driven and possess the ability to succeed within a challenging environment
  • Outgoing disposition, well-equipped with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Down to earth and resilient individual with an entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset who is able to work independently and in a strong team environment
  • Highly driven to excel and be able to thrive within a challenging environment by effectively recognizing customers\' personal banking and wealth management needs
  • A thorough understanding of a multichannel business model is essential
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Strong ability to use management information to develop tactical plans within the broad context of strategic plans and adapt them as per business requirement
To be considered for this role, the relevant rights to work in Singapore is required.

The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
