Job Responsibilities

• To originate the deals in the broader energy sector as follows:
• Conventional O&G sector (e.g. O&G, LNG facilities, FPSO, FSRU, LNG vessels, pipeline, petrochemicals, refineries etc.)
• Mining (eg. copper, nickel, iron ore etc.)
• Gas to Power (in collaboration with Power & Infrastructure team)
• New energy sector (e.g. hydrogen, ammonia, CCS/CCUS, storage battery)
• Any other sectors, collaborating with the other teams, as necessary
• To capture both financial advisory and lending transactions by leading the deal team starting from the marketing stage to financial closing of the deals.
• To increase client base and strengthen the network within the industry (including industry players, sovereign entities, traders, investment funds, financial institutions, advisors etc.)
• To conduct marketing in the new energy space/sustainable finance in order to capture future business in the mid to long term.
• To actively work in the broader energy sector and bring synergy to all the origination team members.
• To execute any other duties that the bank may reasonably require you to perform from time to time and such duties and obligations towards the bank as may be applicable under the applicable laws.

• Maintain and develop good business relationship with existing and potential customers, and ECAs. Cultivate and enhance business opportunities with customers/ECAs.
• Maintain awareness of the conditions and issues surrounding the business (e.g. industry, country, regulatory, financial, etc.) in which the customers or potential projects operate.
• Provide financial advisory and debt arrangement services to customers.
• Conduct due diligence of projects, coordinating with technical consultants, market consultants, legal counsel, accountants, etc.
• Negotiate with customers on financing terms and conditions.
• Preparation of presentation material, financial proposals, and term sheets.
• Conduct documentation negotiations.
• Maintain and develop good business relationship with other banks in the market. Obtain/exchange information on potential business opportunities.
• Prepare credit applications, call memos and other internal reports related to business promotion.
• Solve problems arising in course of execution of new business opportunities.
• Maintain and develop good relationship with HO and relevant branches/offices to facilitate execution of new transactions.
• Upon request, to provide coaching to junior members of the Team on cash flow modeling and to function as Team consultant/checker on cash flow model built by other member of the team.
• Upon instruction, to function as deal leader in execution of project loan arrangement and advisory services.
