Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

• 7 years of experience as a visual designer.
  
• Experienced in establishing UI design patterns and design system.
  
• Online portfolio demonstrating visual design creativity and design system.

Preferred qualifications:

• 9 years of experience as a visual designer.
  
• Experience implementing visual design systems across a range of platforms in a product development environment
  
• 
  Experience developing and launching a consumer product or app for multiple device.
• 
  Experience designing for mobile apps, with knowledge in Material Design.
• 
  Experienced with Figma, including component, style, layer management, and creating scalable design systems.
  
• 
  Experience collaborating with cross functional partners (Product, Engineering, and Marketing).

Responsibilities

• 
  Establish a unified design language, set design principles, develop and maintain best practices through documentation and guidelines.
• 
  Create new UI patterns and continue refining the library for other designs in building compelling experiences for our users.
• Oversee and create proposals throughout the design process, including conceptual vision, executive presentations, and final mockups for implementation
  
• Work closely with user research, product management, and engineering throughout the entire product development cycle, from product inception and strategy to execution.
  
• Provide leadership and mentorship to designers and collaborate with UX to grow the level of visual design craft on the team.
