Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.Job ResponsibilitiesAs Head of Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) in Singapore, you will be responsible for management of the Singapore NBFI RM team, origination and execution of new businesses across the NBFI sectors, specifically with strong expertise and existing client network in the Insurance segment.This role entails driving and ensuring seamless execution of the NBFI growth strategy (inbound/outbound) for Singapore. You will be expected to establish relationships and coverage strategy, identify and pursue opportunities, structure complex solutions, build out relevant product applications, mentor and develop the NBFI team and, above all, adhere to and comply with the Bank\'s compliance and regulatory policies.You will also lead the Insurance segment, working closely with NBFI Global/Regional Relationship Managers in other countries to drive growth for Insurance segment in the region. The role will have regional accountability for certain strategically focused clients.This role will report directly to the Industry Head for Banks/NBFIs.Job Responsibilities

  • Achieve Spore NBFI team business goals, including the annual revenue plan by identifying prospects/opportunities, developing the approach/account and calling plans and engaging partners/ senior managers to influence prospective clients.
  • Manage and supervise the entire Spore NBFI Team, including actively engaging with internal teams to streamline and smoothen client onboarding and AML/Sanction related workflows. Provide industry, market, and regulatory expertise to team to maximize sector penetration and ensure opportunities are undertaken in an efficient manner.
  • Lead the day-to-day coverage, origination, and relationship management efforts for assigned Insurance segment clients.
  • Assist Industry Head to form viable business strategies, implementation plans, as well as identifying issues, gaps, and process improvements through open communication.
  • Understand the unique challenges and requirements in the industry/client segment and partner with internal stakeholders in the development, implementation and delivery of complex products and solutions.
  • Guide, mentor and develop junior members of the team to accelerate their careers within coverage.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience within the financial sector, with relevant coverage and credit experience, including experience in Insurance segment.
  • Strong banking fundamentals highly preferred across the bank\'s global product suite (Cash, Liquidity, Global Markets), with demonstrated track record of success in building, developing client relationships, win and close new businesses.
  • Credit fundamentals with formal credit training preferred. Strong experience in AML/KYC risk management and risk mitigation for NBFI client segments.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities, ability to anticipate on internal and/or external business challenges.
  • Strong commitment to integrity, professionalism, and teamwork.
