Located in the heart of the Central Business District at Capitagreen, AAM has a team of experienced Wealth Managers (WMs), all of whom are authorised by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). AAM Advisory is owned by the Utmost Group and is part of the Utmost International business. Utmost International is a leading provider of insurance-based wealth solutions operating in the UK, Europe, Latin America, Asia and the Middle East. Utmost International has c. 56bn of assets under administration and c 210,000 customers (as at 31 December 2021). Main purpose of role To provide advice and services, working with individuals, families and businesses to help clients better understand their financial circumstances and how to reach their short-term and long-term financial objectives. Key Responsibilities and Scope of role Responsibilities To act as clients' principal wealth manager and adviser providing support and education on all financial matters, providing the necessary advice, guidance, and reassurance to them in achieving their longer-term financial goals Work with other professionals, ensuring the clients' plans are implemented efficiently and effectively Develop individual client strategies and plans aligned to their specific goals and objectives Work closely with a team of administrators ensuring all recommendations, client records, and management information is maintained and up to date To maintain current levels of the business ensuring customers are given the level of service as identified during their initial or review meetings Ensure that opportunities for new business are identified and followed up Advise clients on appropriate products and services aligned to their needs Share best practices with other wealth managers across the business Stay up to date and ahead of industry trends and where practical share these with other Wealth Managers to ensure the business is at the forefront of the market Ensure competency is achieved and maintained across the advice and services processes Key Skills Results-focused, with high energy and drive Exceptional interpersonal skills - able to build relationships of trust with clients and colleagues and lead through influence Effective listener with an ability to convert clients' goals and ambitions into clear action plans Driving action Self-starter with initiative & creativity Flexible thinking - focused on results and continuous professional development High level of self-confidence Ability to navigate through complex environments and effectively manage multiple stakeholders Credibility, professionalism, and strong personal integrity Communicates with impact - superior presentation and communication skills Qualifications required Minimum of a full A-Level Certificate (or equivalent) Capital Markets and Financial Advisory Services (CMFAS) Examination - M5, M8, M8A, M9, M9A, and Health Insurance is required. Any other relevant financial planning courses will be considered as an advantage Experience required Financial services experience essential Commercially astute with excellent communication and presentation skills, able to engage and influence Confidence, drive, energy, resilience, and tenacity to deliver success in a challenging business environment.
