Job Description

What the role is:You will work closely with the Senior Management team and relevant divisions in communicating and reviewing HR policies and initiatives. Aligned with the Ministry's goals and strategies, you will be expected to work closely with Senior Management and partner stakeholders from MTI HQ and MTI statutory boards.What you will be working on:

• Coordinate and manage the Long Service Awards (LSA) and National Day Awards (NDA) processes such as nominations, assessments, and approvals. This includes liaising with relevant stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of the NDA Award Ceremony; Conduct periodic reviews of work-related service benefits policies such transport, mobile subsidy and travel entitlement to ensure relevance, effectiveness, and alignment with organisational objectives and industry best practices; Be a business partner to selected MTI Statutory Boards and provide timely advice and guidance on HR policy matters, including policy interpretation, implementation, and compliance where necessary; and Maintain an oversight of discipline records and ensure that conduct and discipline is enforced in MTI a fair, consistent and expeditious manner.

What we are looking for:

• 3- 5 years of experience in Civil Service. Experience in policy formulation and review will be an advantage. Possess good analytical skills to identify areas of improvement in HR processes for reviewing and streamlining where necessary. Ability to conceptualise and articulate policies, as well as translating strategies to operational practices. Possess good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work well both independently and in a team.
