Vehicle Networking and Information (VNI)



Secure time to market and quality to market for component introduction
New Component Introduction in the area of Coverglass & Displays (working from spec definition with RnD team to component validation) - APQP
Ensure all components are introduced to project schedule and Product Life Cycle (PLC) requirements (Sourcing, SCR, FC, ME, PPAP/PSW...)
APQP Management (Advanced Product Quality Planning) at category level (Red, Yellow, Green) in case of responsibility for component introduction
Close management with plants of red projects and manage actions and mitigate risks
Project leader (coach) for Supplier Improvement Program
Deploy lessons learned / read across through the SQM Category
Supplier quality assurance along the complete process chain
Supplier release and technology release
Drive and implement preferred supplier and component strategy
Escalation Management
Project Leader / Coach for Supplier Improvement Programs
Implement the preferred supplier and component strategy
Drive SQM Global Category quality strategy and improvement programs
Implement Category Quality Requirements
Implementation and control of appropriate supplier quality assurance measures along the complete process chain
Drive Lessons learned & read across to avoid recurrencies at/and cross supplier
Contribute to the supplier quality related report in the plant (KPI driven)
Perform process audits as planned and scheduled
Secure implementation and compliance to IATF and VDA standards
Review Lessons learned & read across implementation at supplier
Develop skills and competencies of the organization
Close collaboration of SQM ASD/SQM CI/ SQM Plant/R&D/Operations (3F approach) for early frontloading activities for approval & manufacturing qualification to achieve seamless component introduction to manufacturability in plants with best optimized process capability/technology limits.
Monitor and analyze category supplier quality performance (incidents, defect, ppm, 8D etc)
Initiate and drive quality improvement on focused suppliers with clear KPI definition
Enable lesson learnt sharing internal and external
Quality risk analysis and mitigation
Respond to escalation of quality and delivery

Job Requirements

Degree in engineering (e.g. Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering) with minimum of 5 years experience in relevant industry.
Good experience and knowledge about quality system (ISO/IATF16949, VDA6.3...), tools and external communication
Experience in utilization and application of advanced Quality Management Tools & Understanding of automotive practices such as (APQP, MSA, SPC, FMEA, PPAP, VDA6.3, IATF16949)
Experience in supporting to perform Quality Audits (Process, System)
Able to lead/facilitate process improvements and suppliers' development.
Experience in working with international teams on quality, engineering, operation or supply chain
Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with colleagues, departments inside and outside company.
Understanding for different foreign cultures(NAFTA, ASIA, EUROPE)
20-30% business travel or work at suppliers sites
