Senior/Executive, Depot / Trackside / Future System Support
Job Purpose
Reports to the Operations Support Senior Manager, the Depot/Trackside/Future System Support Senior/Executive is responsible in managing various LTA projects. Incumbent will also assist in reviewing design documents from operation perspective, input operation requirement and comments, and to operationalise the future systems for better train operation and performance.
Responsibilities
- Provide knowledge and support for projects in relation to Trains, Depot and Trackside
- Review design documents for current and Future Systems and provide operational inputs
- Review documentation for A&A works for stations and provide operational inputs to ensure no/ minimal impact to train and station operations
- Coordinate and plan for signalling software (SW) deployments by liaising with the various stakeholders
- Coordinate and plan for Trial / Test run by liaising with the various stakeholders
- Review works to be carried out LTA / Contractors within the Rail Protection Zones are in order and will not cause any impact to rail operations
- Review documentation submitted by LTA / Contractors that will be published in the NSEWL Operations Notice
- Provide input and support for Failure & Delay meeting
- Lead the team in exploring Kaizen initiatives
- Other ad-hoc work assigned from time to time
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Degree of any discipline
- Proficient Microsoft office - Excel, Powerpoint
- Able to commit occasion nightshift / off-revenue hours during testing and system implementation
- Strong communication to collaborate effectively with internal and external customers
- Able to multi-tasks , manage expectations and timeline
Skills
- Meticulous, fast & independent learning attitude
- Able to handle stress with tight timeline
- Must be resourceful and able to work independently
- Possess good interpersonal skills
