What the role is:The Waste Infrastructure and Engineering Division (WIED) oversees the planning, engineering design and development of all NEA waste management infrastructure.What you will be working on:The Senior/Executive Engineer will actively participate in the planning, development and management of future solid waste management facilities, including the integrated waste management facility and other recycling facilities that align with the targets outlined in the SG Greenplan 2030. The responsibilities and scope of work include:Develop various waste management facilities, with a focus on the integrated waste management facility, and secure planning approval and funding supportPlan and implement project schedules to ensure timely executionAdminister the procurement process to select and appoint project consultants and contractors, including the preparation of tender documentsManage consultants in conducting feasibility, preliminary design, and detailed design studiesSupervise consultants/contractors and conduct site inspections to ensure timely and cost-effective development of waste management facilities in compliance with tender requirementsManage funding and budget planning cycles for projectsCollaborate with various internal and external stakeholders of projectsWhat we are looking for:A degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or Environmental Engineering is preferred.
