Broad Function The role of the Senior/Executive (Medical Affairs / Clinical Governance), Clinical Services, is to plan, execute and support the functions of the Clinical Services Office. He/She will work closely with the Chairman, Medical Board, Depu Broad Function The role of the Senior/Executive (Medical Affairs / Clinical Governance), Clinical Services, is to plan, execute and support the functions of the Clinical Services Office. He/She will work closely with the Chairman, Medical Board, Deputy Director, Clinical Services, Clinical Heads, other staff members of Clinical Services, internal and external stakeholders. The Senior/Executive will also have the opportunity to participate in other roles within the Clinical Services office for growth and development (e.g. clinical programme management, licensing, service development). Key Responsibilities & Duties Specific Administer the Singapore Medical Council Supervisory Framework for conditionally-registered doctors and ensure compliance to requirements, including training of department secretaries in the role where required. Administer credentialing & privileging requirements for clinicians, ensure proper documentation of applications and issuance of privileges, maintain privileging database and provide secretariat support to the Credentialing & Privileging Committee. Coordinate, track and administer professional matters for Medical staff including management of appointments and re-appointments, in coordination with Human Resources (HR). Secretariat support (rotational) to clinical committees and workgroups managed by Clinical Services (e.g. Clinical Board, Clinical Heads meeting, Code Blue Committee, Implant Committee) Manage the Service and Quality Component (SQC) process for Medical staff, in coordination with HR and Clinical Heads. General Perform any other duties as assigned by the Chairman, Medical Board and/or Director/Deputy Director, Clinical Services.
