Job Description

Overview:

• To follow and understand works as per approved procedures, project specification and drawings for structural components for shop fabrication as per construction sequence and schedule.
• To ensure compliance to HSE regulations and requirement.
• To Supervise the relevant sub-contractors to ensure the major output within the stipulated schedule without scarifying the HSE & Quality requirements.

Responsibilities:

• To prepare constructability slide and co-ordinate with other discipline about construction sequence
• To conduct the daily tool box briefing with subcontractors to comply the project requirements.
• To coordinate the subcontractor\'s supervisor regarding daily man power allocation and schedule the activities
• To ensure all the workers follow our HSE policies and requirement.
• To attend the PSCC meeting and coordinate incompatible activities without any HSE issues and apply necessary Permits (PTW) and ensure the PTW is approved before commencement of works.
• To check all the activities to be done with proper Risk assessment and method statement and briefed all the workers involved in the job. To raise the NSI request forms for Project and temporary materials whichever not captured by EDD.
• To raise theo El 2 to EDD if required for any technical issues at site activities. To co-ordinate with EDD engineers/Clients for the shop /site related construction activities.
• To participate weekly PMT Meeting & sub-contractor meeting to meet the weekly and monthly progress as per planned schedule.
• To monitor the sub-contractor QC\'s checks and NDT checks shall happen as per project specification.
• To conduct internal audit and ensure the subcontracts documents are latest.
• To send the progress status to Project engineer weekly or send to planning department for the Progress.
• To ensure all shop fabricated items shall be followed by release note system.
• To ensure the display board with relevant & latest WPS at all time in the Shop or Erection sites.
• To ensure electrode store equipment\'s that all are calibrated/ monitor and supervise of the electrode store man / monitor and keep a record of daily consumables of electrodes / FCAW wires / SAW wires / Gouging carbons & sufficient available stock.
• To monitor gas consumption and notify to stores department to raise Nsl as and when required.
• To attend Tool box meeting in time particularly in the weekend and nightshift and hand over the activities with return forms
• To Monitor the day shift and night shift Progress and allocate the jobs under his subordinates.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor Degree related Engineering Disciplines
• For Senior or Lead positions, at least more than 10years of experience
• Strong safety mind-set
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Team-oriented and has high initiative
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to multi-task and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work at height and/or confined spaces
• This is a 2 years contract position
