Main Roles and Responsibilities
1. Undertake up to 24 contact/teaching hours per week in the following units/components:
a. Exhibition Design and Curating b. Visual Arts Management c. Business Writing d. Understanding Visual Arts
2. Design, prepare and develop module/teaching materials for Diploma and Bachelor of Arts courses
3. Plan and supervise a variety of activities such as projects, productions, collaborations, etc
4. Supervise and assess students\xe2\x80\x99 assignments/works/projects
5. Prepare and maintain records relating to students\xe2\x80\x99 progress, performance, and attendance
6. Contribute towards review of curriculum and academic activities
7. Mentor and provide academic care and support, including career guidance to students and Industry-based learning (IBL) supervision
8. Keep up to date on the development of discipline related teaching practices and learning strategies
9. Establish and maintain links with the industry and institutions to foster a total approach of academic pursuit alongside industry practice
10. Contribute to interdisciplinary collaboration and research
11. Teach in other courses within the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Practices or across the Academy if required
12. Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Requirements
1. Minimum qualification of Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Visual Arts Management or Business Studies
2. Minimum 10 years of teaching and relevant working experience
3. Ability to teach a range of subjects in the arts management curriculum
4. Positive, enthusiastic, and results-oriented with the ability to engage students in their learning
5. Excellent command of written and spoken English
6. A team player with good interpersonal skills
7. Excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills
8. Strong track record of research/practice, with actual or potential for research output in your chosen field
