This role requires a self-starter with a passion for creating vibrant, engaging, and inclusive spaces that foster community, collaboration and destination branding.ResponsibilitiesPlacemaking Strategy & Programme Design:Develop and implement a comprehensive placemaking strategy for Singapore Science Park and other destinationsDesign innovative programmes and initiatives that enhance the user experience, encourage community engagement and elevate the brand reputation of the destinationsBe actively involved in the day-to-day operations, ensuring all aspects of the programme are executed efficiently and effectivelyAudience Development & Engagement:Identify and target key audiences, including tenants, visitors, and the local communityDevelop and execute strategies to draw diverse audiences to the placemaking destination, ensuring active participation in events and programmesDesign outreach and engagement initiatives that resonate with the unique character of the placemaking destination, fostering a strong sense of belonging and community among all audience segmentsMarketing & Branding:Undertake the marketing and branding efforts for the placemaking programme, ensuring alignment with the destination\xe2\x80\x99s brand identityCreate compelling content and campaigns that highlight the unique features and offerings of the destination and spacesUtilize digital and traditional marketing channels to promote the destination, programmes and eventsEvents Planning & Management:Plan, organize, and manage a diverse range of events, including food festivals, tech showcases, wellness activities, and moreEnsure seamless execution of events, from concept to post-event evaluation, maintaining high standards of qualityCollaborate with partners, vendors, and service providers to deliver memorable experiencesRelationship & Partnership Building:Develop and nurture relationships with tenants, local businesses, community groups, and other stakeholdersEstablish and maintain strong partnerships with government agencies, trade bodies, educational institutions, cultural organisations, and other key stakeholdersSeek out sponsorships and partnerships that enhance the value and reach of the placemaking programmeRequirementsBachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Communications, Service Design, Urban Planning, Event Management or a related fieldMinimum of 8 years of experience in audience development, service design, marketing, branding, events planning, project management or a related area, with at least 3 years in a managerial roleProven track record in developing and implementing successful placemaking or audience development programmesStrong understanding of marketing principles, digital media, and brand managementExcellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team, with a hands-on approachCreative thinker with strong problem-solving abilitiesBenefits
