Job Description

Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and effective dispensing of medications, providing specialized patient counselling, and supporting the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform medication reconciliation, dispensing, and specialized counselling to patients.
• Review and verify medication orders and discharge prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Provide drug information and guidance to healthcare professionals.
• Maintain strict inventory control, including the supply and distribution of controlled substances.
• Ensure compliance with hospital SOPs, performance indicators, and accreditation or legal standards.
• Participate in on-call services on a rotational basis.
• Supervise and guide Pharmacy Technicians and Assistants when required.
• Contribute to hospital projects and initiatives assigned by the Principal Pharmacist or Senior Manager.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
• Registered Pharmacist with the Singapore Pharmacy Council (SPC) and holds a valid practising license.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a hospital inpatient setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Willingness to participate in on-call duties (once every 6 weeks, no overnight shifts currently).
• Will be rostered to work on Saturday or Sunday once a month.
