You will assess, diagnose, and implement treatments for a range of problems related to the foot and lower limbs in the primary care setting. Using your specialist skills, you will treat a broad spectrum of patients ranging from low-risk foot conditions such as corns, calluses, and pathological nail conditions, musculoskeletal cases to high-risk diabetic foot ulcers. You will also be involved in the prescription of custom-made foot orthoses. In addition, you will educate patients and family members or caregivers on preventive foot care and the continued treatment of disorders, and conduct talks relating to foot care. You will also contribute towards continuous quality improvement in the department and provide guidance to trainees and students.Requirements
