DESIGNATION : Senior/Producer, Current Affairs (Documentaries)



RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities :


Ideation, research, pitching, writing, producing and directing long-form documentaries for television, covering domestic and international topics. Ideating and creating supplementary content for digital platforms. Being activated in other roles in news and information programming as part of the channel's national broadcaster obligations. Collaborating with teammates in various capacities, on team or group projects. Collaborating with teammates, in similar and other roles, to seek innovations and achieve optimal outcomes in any production.




QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements :


A "people person" who works well in a team. A keen interest and innate curiosity in history, and local and international current affairs. A bachelor's degree or above in any discipline. A passion for uncovering and telling stories that provide insight and inspire impact. A strong command of the English language; proficiency in other languages will be an asset. * Prior career experience in writing, filmmaking, research, or journalism will be an asset.
