Acre is delighted to be partnering with a renowned luxury goods brand in search of a Senior Sustainability Manager, Energy Supply Chain & Facilities. Reporting to the Head of Sustainability, APAC, you will help to drive coherence and consistency in their approach to sustainability initiatives relating to their supply chain & facilities in the regional markets. You will also support the House\'s sustainability agenda to achieve desired sustainability goals on decarbonization, energy management, sustainable facilities & waste management.
As sustainability continues to evolve as a key strategic priority for the brand both globally and in Asia, significant opportunities have been identified, and great progress has been evidenced already, driven by a variety of projects across multiple facets of the business. Our client is looking for candidates who are passionate about joining the House and supporting them in their Sustainability transformation and accelerating further their sustainability agenda.
In this role, you will:

  • Work cross-functionally with different departments with the following responsibilities, such as Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Construction, Real Estate and Facilities, to drive sustainability projects.
  • Actively lead several projects/ initiatives:
    • Energy & building management system, corporate power purchase agreements
    • Supply chain and logistics decarbonization
    • Green/sustainable building standards, green lease
    • Circular economy & waste management - general waste & recycling
  • Manage project and initiative performance by tracking and reporting status and milestones, including to identify, track, monitor, report and manage risks and issues.
  • Partner closely with the different initiative leads, manage planning, facilitate communication between all involved stakeholders, and keep programs in alignment with vision and objectives.
  • Define and build the right strategy, roadmap, methodologies, and tools suitable for regional and market rollout of identified sustainability initiatives.
  • Serve as an internal specialist on energy, sustainable building, and supply chain. Support the planning and execution of capacity building and training programmes to relevant stakeholders to drive engagement and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other members of the corporate and regional sustainability teams to develop and share best practices and ensure coherence across market, regional and global action plans.
  • Identify, engage, and manage relationships with a network of external experts that can help the House with its sustainability ambitions.
  • Derive insights from internal and external research and implement benchmarks with best-in-class.

  • Highly developed communication and collaboration skills as well as learning agility.
  • Project management experience.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; other analytics/visualization tools would be a bonus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with comfort working with numbers/quantitative models.
  • Commercial acumen, connecting the dots to business solutions.
  • Specific qualifications in the Sustainability arena (e.g., environmental science).
