Windows Engineer

skilled in

vulnerability

patching and ideally Bladelogic

, to support our client in Singapore which is a top

global investment bank

.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for planning and coordinating patching and remediation across Wintel and Linux servers. Work closely with system administrators and application owners to coordinate and deliver updates to resolve vulnerabilities. Candidate may be required to analyze vulnerabilities and ensure appropriate action is being taken against the server ensuring smooth patch delivery. Responsible for reporting results to clients and partner teams. Ensure system currency for Windows servers are up to GIS standards. No past due in currency report. Ensure ancillary patches (Microsoft Office. Java, Adobe related products) for Windows servers are up to GIS standards Transit currency works for legacy Windows servers to Global Patching and Currency Team Provide weekend change and ad-hoc operational support for Windows servers Other projects and tasks as required Patching on all APAC Windows servers Ensure that there are no overdue vulnerabilities in the patching report - Monthly / Bi-weekly Forecast the upcoming vulnerabilities, Plan the Patching cycle, send AO comm's and raise paper works Transition / offload work to the global team On-board the low touch servers to automation

Job Requirements:

In depth working technical knowledge in applying patches and recovering Windows servers In depth working technical knowledge in applying ancillary patches Good working experience in BladeLogic for Windows will be an advantage Good working experience in scripting like PowerShell will be an advantage ITIL and basic understanding of technologies B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred Added advantage with Microsoft Certified Professional Strong analytical and leadership skills Require to work on weekends

3 Key must-have:
