Job description:
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Service
Greet guests warmly and provide excellent table service from start to finish.
Take food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring special requests or dietary requirements are clearly communicated to the kitchen/bar.
Deliver food and drinks promptly, ensuring correct presentation and order accuracy.
Anticipate guest needs and respond quickly to requests.
Provide knowledgeable recommendations on cocktails, spirits, and menu items.
Handle guest feedback or complaints politely, escalating issues to the FOH Manager where necessary.
Ensure tables are cleared, reset, and prepared for the next guests efficiently.
Operational Support
Assist in opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, and stock preparation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, including tables, side stations, and service counters.
Ensure POS transactions are handled accurately, including billing, payments, and cash handling.
Support smooth communication between guests, bar, and kitchen teams.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with fellow servers, bartenders, hosts, and management to ensure seamless operations.
Attend pre-shift briefings to stay updated on daily specials, menu changes, or promotions.
Assist colleagues proactively during peak hours.
Requirements
Previous experience as a server in a restaurant or bar (preferred but not required; training provided).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional, well-groomed appearance and positive attitude.
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
Basic knowledge of food, cocktails, wines, and spirits (training will be provided).
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Guest-focused mindset and passion for hospitality.
