Magpie is searching for new tribe members.
Chef Eliot Thomas, from New Zealand, opened Magpie at the beginning of this year. With a focus on delicious food, a thoughtfully curated drinks program and at the heart of it all, the people. Magpie in Tiong Bahru is a vibrant neighbourhood bistro which provides A class service along side the borderless soul food and drink options.

Job Responsibilities:
Attend customer service according to procedures and standards. Assisting and ensure a smooth daily service operations (opening and closing, taking orders, table setting, cleaning.) Basic cashiering duties. To provide service according to procedures and standards To handle the beverage order. To be familiar with and retain information on the menu. To recommend and promote all items on the menu or specials to guests. To handle guest complaints and feedbacks effectively and communicate to the immediate supervisor for follow up. To maintain a high standard of personal hygiene, appearance and deportment at all times. To clean up section area after service and maintain cleanliness of the area. Effectively communicate with rest of the team to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction. Maintains the restaurant culture and ambience at all times. To perform other related duties as required by the manager.

Requirements:
No experience welcome, but is preferred. Must be able to communicate effectively in English. * Personable, charming and outgoing personality, with a strong service-attitude.
