As part of the service team, you will play a key role in creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly and guide them through the Omakase dining experience.
Provide detailed explanations of menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and cultural significance.
Take customer orders with precision, ensuring accurate entry into the POS (point-of-sale) system.
Anticipate and fulfil guest needs with professionalism and attentiveness.
Set up and maintain the dining area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
Serve food and beverages in a timely and elegant manner, adhering to the restaurant's standards.
Assist in the preparation of beverages, such as tea, sake, or wine, as required.
Work closely with the chefs and kitchen team to ensure smooth service and accurate order delivery.
Support colleagues during peak hours to maintain a high level of service.
Wash tableware, glassware, and cutlery and ensure they are spotless and properly arranged.
Follow strict hygiene and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
Assist with inventory management and restocking of service items.
Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism.
Participate in daily roll-calls and team briefings to stay informed about menu updates, promotions, and operational goals.
To carry our ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 2 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fine dining or Japanese restaurant but not mandatory.
Experience in customer service or hospitality roles is an advantage.
Fluent in English for effective communication with customers.
Basic understanding of Japanese cuisine, particularly Omakase and sushi, is a plus.
Familiarity with Japanese dining etiquette and traditions is desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
